Our shop

Ribbons Galore is an online store only, and we do not operate a shop (bricks and mortar) or warehouse that is open to the public.

Pricing

Our ribbons are priced per metre in Australian dollars. One exception is the ribbon bundles collection. These bundles are priced per bundle.

1 metre = 1.093 yard (approximately)

Continuous Cuts

When you purchase products from Ribbons Galore, we cut your ribbons and trims to order. If you order 3 metres of ribbon, you will receive a 3 metre length of ribbon. We endeavor to continuous cut all our orders, but do not guarantee larger quantities will be supplied in one continuous length.

Samples

We receive many requests for samples and ask our customers to order short lengths (for example 1 metre) of their favoured ribbons through the online store.

Special Orders

Are you looking for a ribbon that is not in our store? Please ask. We have access to many more products that are not stocked in our store. You will be required to purchase whole rolls of special order ribbons.

Bulk discounts and wholesale information

We receive many enquiries about wholesale pricing. We are primarily a retail operation and we are pleased to offer the following discounts for larger orders without the need to establish a wholesale arrangement:

10% off the per metre price for 25 metres or more of the ONE type of ribbon,
20% off the per metre price for 50 metres or over of the ONE type of ribbon,
30% off the per metre price for 100 metres or over of the ONE type of ribbon.

The discount will be automatically deducted from your order during the checkout stage of the ordering process.

Quite often we will need to order more ribbon to fulfill larger quantity orders. Please contact us for more details and lead times.

Out of Stock items and Back Orders

We only sell ribbons that we have in stock at Ribbons Galore. If one of our stock items is not currently available, it will show as "Out of Stock". We do not offer back orders.

Payment

Ribbons Galore accepts payments via PayPal.

We accept credit card payments. Our credit card payments are processed through PayPal.

You do not need be a PayPal account holder to complete our PayPal payments.

We also accept direct credit payments from our Australian customers. Payments by direct credit must be received within 5 working days of placing the order, or the order will be cancelled.

Order processing and delivery times

Once your payment is received, orders are processed within 5 business days. We use Australia Post to send our orders. Please see below for postage costs.

For orders posted internationally, Australia Post advises "usual delivery" time of up to 7 working days. The "usual delivery" is the estimated time to deliver a standard letter between metropolitan areas of major cities. Times are longer for merchandise, large letters and parcels sent from or to non-metropolitan areas. This timing does not include the time your parcel may take to be processed by your country's local customs and imports department.

Postage and handling

We will post our ribbons to any where in the world.

Shipping and handling costs are based on the total cost of your order. The method of shipping is selected during checkout.

Postage within Australia

We post most orders via Australia Post. You have the option of choosing regular or Registered mail.

For regular postage, we guarantee orders are posted, however, Australia Post are responsible for delivery. Ribbons posted using this method CAN NOT be tracked.

Registered Mail post is available for an extra cost and requires a signature on delivery. Registered Mail provides you an article number which gives access to parcel tracking.

Regular postage and handling:

Order total up to $50.00:: $3.00
Order total between $50.01 and $200.00:: $6.00
Order total $200.01 and over:: $12.00

Registered Mail:

Order total up to $50.00:: $6.00
Order total between $50.01 and $200.00:: $9.00
Order total $200.01 and over:: $15.00

International postage

We will post internationally using Australia Post Airmail service. We can offer set postage costs for orders up to $100.00. Orders over $100.01 will be charged the actual international shipping costs, and will only be sent with insurance. We also offer the option of insuring your parcel, if it is under $100.00, for an additional cost. Insured mail will give you a tracable number to monitor your parcel's delivery with your local postal service and is highly recommended.

Air Mail postage and handling:

Order total up to $40.00:: $6.00
Order total between $40.01 and $100.00:: $12.00
Order total over $100.01:: Insured shipping costs plus handling will be charged

Air Mail postage WITH INSURANCE (and traceable number):

Order total up to $40.00:: $20.00
Order total between $40.01 and $100.00:: $30.00
Order total over $100.01:: approximately $50.00

Returns

We will only accept a return if the incorrect product was supplied. Please notify Ribbons Galore by email within 10 business days of receipt of your order. Please include you name, invoice number and details of you enquiry in this email.
